Welcome to Woodlawn Cemetery’s official website. Woodlawn Cemetery in Cornwall was founded as a non-denominational, not for profit cemetery and is one of the oldest public cemeteries in the area. Established in 1889, Woodlawn Cemetery is a beautiful park-like setting of 14 acres, rich with stately oak trees located in the heart of Cornwall. It is the final resting place for over 9,700 persons of all faiths.

We welcome visitors to Woodlawn Cemetery all year round.  There is on site parking next to the office.

Woodlawn Cemetery operates with the office open for Summer Hours and restricted Winter Hours.

We ask that visitors with pets respect the grounds and the monuments by staying to the roadways and cleaning up any mess made.

During the winter the roadways are not plowed.  You may only walk in to visit the gravesites.  Please do not drive through the cemetery.

A website that we find very useful is Find A Grave.  Volunteers have photographed the monuments and markers on the graves of our cemetery and catalogued them.  We will continue to add newer ones as we are able, to keep the listing as current as possible.
